Don’t blame stress for your aching head! Your eating habits are also responsible for your head ache as, chemicals in many foods lead to swelling of blood vessels, which can give you a headache.
Though coffee doesn’t comes in the list, since caffeine relieves headaches by constricting blood vessels, but once caffeine wears off, the pain can return worse than before, which is called a rebound headache. If you get headaches often, cut these foods from your diet and try to find out by having them one by one to see if the chemicals in them are the factor. Cheese: aged ones like blue and brie cheese contain amino acid tyramine, a natural by-product of the aging process. Alcohol: Drink too much of alcohol in a night party, and next day you’ll awake with a severe headache! More chemicals that trigger headache are found much in red wine, brandy and champagne.
